Kid + Parent Wheel Pottery Class (Beginner Friendly)
This price is for 1 parent + 1 child below 10 years old.
This is a 2-hour beginner friendly pottery crash course class for parents with kids 5-10 years old. This is a great bonding activity where you and your kid can learn how to do pottery on the wheel.
Wheel throwing is a technique that allows you to create forms with clay and your hands with the use of a wheel. Most outputs are symmetrical in form.
What you will learn:
Pottery basics

- Possible risks - managing cracks
- How to use pottery tools

- Making a cylinder form

What if I have 2 kids and 1 parent?
The price is per pair. Therefore, for this case, unit price is 2x.
What can we expect to make?
Each person will be able to make 1-2 cups at the end of the class.
Can I enroll my kid without an adult companion?
No, the promo requires 1 kid and 1 adult. We highly encourage joining the class with your kid as this is a great bonding activity :)
If the parent is not available can somebody else accompany the kid?
Yes, any relative or guardian can join the class as long as your kid is partnered with an adult companion. Please inform us in advance who will be joining so we can inform the teachers.
Are we allowed to reschedule?
We only have fixed schedules for this workshop, so rescheduling is not allowed.
Can we bring our final outcomes home?
We will need to fire your pieces first before you are able to use them, the firing process will involve multiple stages like drying, and firing it twice which can take around 8-10 weeks. We will inform you when your works are ready for pick up.
Can I bring food or drinks?
Yes, snacks will be provided but you can bring your own food or drinks. You can even order from the dozens of restaurants around the Cubao Expo compound, and it will be delivered to you during your pottery session. Please give us a heads up so the teacher is informed :)
Can I bring pets?
Yes of course. Our founder (Ashe) is actually a gray tabby cat. We love pets! Please bring your pets :) We also assume that you will be responsible for them and will not disrupt any other ongoing classes in the other classrooms.
If we miss the class, can we refund?
We do not do refunds. Please note that we are a small business and we have allotted time, space and an instructor for your company and convenience.
Can we give a downpayment to reserve?
We require full payment upon reservation as we need to say no to others who would like your slots. We accept BPI, BDO, Gcash. We hope you understand <3
