Mug Making Pop-Up in Cebu (Hand Sculpting - no machine)

This beginner friendly pop-up class will happen at Polita, Cebu where you will be able to enjoy good food, drinks and learn how to hand-build your own mug.

Hand Building is a technique that allows you to create forms with clay and only your hands, without using a wheel. Think of it as sculpting. Using your hands and tools provided to make mugs, bowls and such.

Inclusions:

3 hours in person session
1kg white stoneware clay
Glaze and firing service

Where is the class located?

This class will be located at Polita, The Gallery, Pope John Paul II Ave, Cebu City.

What can we expect to make?
You’ll be able to make 2 mugs at the end of the class.

Will the class use a potter's wheel?

No machine is needed for this class. You will only use your hands and sculpting tools to create your mugs.

Can we bring our final outcomes home?

We will need to fire your pieces first back in Manila before you are able to use them. The firing process will involve multiple stages like drying, and firing it twice which can take around 10-12 weeks. We will inform you when your works are ready for shipping (1 week delivery time).

Can I bring food or drinks?

Outside food and drinks are not allowed but don't worry as Polita has prepared a snack and drink for each attendee. 🍹 You can even order additional food (at customer's cost) from their kitchen and it can be served to you during or after your pottery session :)

Are we allowed to reschedule?
This is a one-time pop-up class, so rescheduling is not allowed.

If we miss the class, can we refund?

We do not do refunds. Please note that we are a small business and we have allotted time, space and an instructor for your company and convenience.

Can we give a downpayment to reserve?
We require full payment upon reservation as we need to say no to others who would like your slots. We accept BPI, BDO, Gcash. We hope you understand <3
