Mug & Rug Making at Seltsam, Makati

This beginner-friendly pop-up class will happen on

December 10 & 17 (Sundays) at Seltsam, Rooftop, Gervacia Building, 152 Amorsolo Street, Legazpi Village, Makati

There are 2 classes available:

1. Mug Making / Hand Sculpting (P2,900) - a pottery technique that allows you to create 1-2 mugs with only some tools and your hands, without using a wheel. In this class, you will also be able to decorate your pieces such as carving, adding a handle, and painting.

Inclusions: 2 hours in person session, 600g stoneware clay, use of tools, paints, transparent glaze, firing service 

2. Rug Making (P4,200) - Tuft your own rug (20x20 inches) where you'll be able to choose your own yarn colors, tuft your design and clean your piece from start to finish.

Inclusions: 3 hours in person session, unlimited choices of yarn colors, use of tufting gun, threader, scissors, glue and backing kit

Important note: Upon booking this workshop, kindly leave your Instagram username on the Special Instructions section before checking out. Our team will reach out to you via email or Instagram to ask for your design. Please send in your design at least 1 day before your class so that we can prepare your design and you will have more time for tufting.

FAQ:

Where is the class located?

The class is located at the Seltsam Glass House. A Waze link to the nearest parking and instructions on how to go to the event space will be sent to you once your booking has been confirmed.

Are we allowed to reschedule?

We only have fixed schedules for this workshop. If you can not make it, you may transfer this session to another person.

Is there an age restriction?

Mug Making Pottery Class - 6 yrs old and above are allowed

Rug Tufting Class - 15 yrs old and above are allowed 

Can we bring our final outcomes home? 

Pottery - We will need to fire your pieces first before you are able to use them, the firing process will involve multiple stages like drying, and firing it twice which can take around 6-8 weeks. We will inform you when your works are ready for pick up.

Tufting - Yes, you will be able to bring home your rug since we will teach you how to glue, attach backing, touch up, shave, trim, and clean your tufted piece. 

Can I bring food or drinks? 

Outside food and drinks are not allowed as both classes include cocktails, coffee or snacks by Seltsam ☕ 

If we miss the class, can we refund? 

We do not do refunds. Please note that we are a small business and we have allotted time, space and an instructor for your company and convenience. 

Can we give a downpayment to reserve?
We require full payment upon reservation as we need to say no to others who would like your slots. We accept Credit Cards, BPI, BDO, Gcash. We hope you understand <3
