FAQS:
Does this have gold in it?
There’s no actual gold in the clay. We use Bronze Clay, made from a blend of fine bronze powder (a mix of copper and tin metals), organic binders, and water.
When fired in a kiln, the binders burn away and the metal particles fuse together, leaving a solid bronze piece.
It's called Bronze Gold Clay Workshop because the finished pieces have a warm, gold-like color and shine.

Your piece is made from solid bronze, the same material used in fine jewelry and sculpture. Because of its purity, unlike those we buy commercially that is blended with other metals, it can naturally patina over time that’s part of bronze’s beauty and character.
To keep its original shine you must take care of as you would any other fine jewelry: store it in a sealed pouch we provide after the class, wipe it with the included polishing cloth before storing. You can also drop by the studio anytime to re-polish your piece using our industrial-grade polishers.
