The method is handbuilding through pinching and coiling. 

Coiling is a technique of Hand building that allows you to create forms with clay and your hands, without using a wheel. Think of it as sculpting - using only your hands and tools provided to make vases and such.

What can we expect to make?
You’ll be able to make 1 unique lamp at up to 9 inches based on your preference. 

Is this class beginner friendly?
Yes we have designed this class to be easy to follow for beginners. We will concentrate on cylindrical forms with an open-bulb design. Our teachers have a lot of experience with ceramic lamps. Some of which are displayed in the National Museum.

Can kids do this? 
Yes, we've had kids make lamps. The best age is around 8 years old and above. But if you feel that your child can follow instructions and focus for 3 hours, any age is welcome. 

Will the class use a potter's wheel?
No machine is needed for this class. You will only use your hands and sculpting tools to create your vases.

Can we bring our final outcomes home?
We will need to fire your pieces first before you are able to use them, the firing process will involve multiple stages like drying, and firing it twice which can take around 8-10 weeks. We will inform you when your works are ready for pick up.

Can I bring food or drinks? 

Yes, you can bring food or drinks. You can even order from the dozens of restaurants around the Cubao Expo compound, and it can be delivered to you during your pottery session. Please give us a heads up so the teacher is informed :)

Are we allowed to reschedule?
We understand sometimes things can go wrong. Please bear in mind that this is not a weekly class, and you would have to wait for the next lamp making event. 

If we miss the class, can we refund? We do not do refunds, but you can transfer your slot to a friend or reschedule you (once)

Can we give a downpayment to reserve?
We require full payment upon reservation as we need to say no to others who would like your slots. We accept BPI, BDO, Gcash. We hope you understand <3
