Learn how to form a cylinder using the potter’s wheel, attach a handle using the handbuilding technique and design/paint all in one session!

What you will learn: 

• Introduction on pottery
• How to prepare your clay
• Forming handles 
• How to use the potter’s wheel in order to make a cylinder
• Painting with underglaze

Inclusions:

• 3-hour in-person session
• 1kg premium japanese clay
• Use of potter's wheel
• Painting included: we will provide you with underglaze of your choice.
• Glaze and Firing (we will do this for you)
• Apron and Pottery tools are available for use in studio.

*This is a public group class. If you want to book a private class, the minimum is 4 pax for cubao and 6 pax for makati. Kindly message us on instagram if you want to make your class private.

What's the difference between this class and the others?

Can we bring our final outcomes home? 

We will need to fire your pieces first before you are able to use them, the firing process will involve multiple stages like drying, and firing it twice which can take around 6-8 weeks. We will inform you when your works are ready for pick up.

If we miss the class, can we refund? 

When rescheduling, we’ll share the available class dates you can choose from. Not all dates are open — we can only move bookings into sessions where your teacher is confirmed and available, and where there are other students already booked. This ensures your new class will definitely push through and that you’ll still get the full guided Bumi experience. 

Reschedule is only allowed for one time only and must be done within 2 months of the original workshop date to keep scheduling fair for all students.

Beyond that, the booking is considered used and forfeited.

There’s a ₱500 reschedule fee per person, which you can settle once you’ve picked your new date from the options we’ll share with you.

We require full payment upon booking. We accept BPI, BDO, Maya, Gcash and Major credit cards online. :)
