Pottery & Rug Classes at Alabang Town Center, Town Plaza

These beginner-friendly classes will be held on November 22 & 29 (Saturdays) at ATC, Town Plaza (in front of Esprit & Flying Tiger).

Here are our classes:

1. Mug or Matcha Bowl Making (₱2,800) - a pottery technique that allows you to create a mug or matcha bowl with only some tools and your hands, without using a wheel. In this class, you will also be able to decorate your pieces by carving, adding a handle, and painting.

Inclusions: 3 hours in-person session, 600g stoneware clay, use of tools, unlimited paint, transparent glaze, firing service. 

2. Kid+ Adult Mug Making (₱3,950) - Create your OWN mugs together! (1 mug for adult & 1 mug for kid). The kid must be 10 years old and below. Additional kid is ₱900 (please message us ahead if you will add). 

Inclusions:

3. Ramen Bowl Making (₱3,200) - Create a ramen bowl without using a wheel. Get creative by sculpting details on your pieces! 

4. Rug Solo (Big) 60x60cm frame (₱4,200) - Tuft your own rug (20x20 inches) where you'll be able to choose your own yarn colors, tuft your design and clean your piece from start to finish.

Inclusions: 3 hours in person session, unlimited choices of yarn colors, use of tufting gun, threader, scissors, glue and backing kit. 

5. Rug Pair (Big) 60x60cm frame (₱4,500) - You and your plus one will be able to tuft a rug (20x20 inches) where you'll be able to choose your own yarn colors, tuft your design, and clean your piece from start to finish.

2 people will be sharing 1 tufting frame, and 1 tufting gun, and will share 1 output.

Inclusions: same as Solo Rug Making Workshop

6. Rug Solo (Small) 45x45cm frame (₱2,700) - Tuft your own rug (15x15 inches) where you'll be able to choose your own yarn colors, tuft your design and clean your piece from start to finish.

Inclusions: Same as Solo Rug Making Workshop but 2.5 hours only.

Where is the class located?

The class is located at the ATC, Town Plaza (in front of Esprit & Flying Tiger). A waze link to the nearest parking will be sent to you once your booking has been confirmed.

Since the event will be held outdoors, we will be providing Iwata fans to ensure the comfort of all attendees. We also recommend that participants wear light and airy clothing.

Is there an age/height restriction?

Pottery - 5 yrs old and above are allowed
Rug Tufting - 15 yrs old and above are allowed 

Are we allowed to reschedule?

We only have fixed schedules for this workshop, so rescheduling is not allowed.

If we miss the class, can we refund? 

We do not do refunds. Please note that we are a small business, and we have allotted time, space and an instructor for your company and convenience. 

Can we bring our final outcomes home? 

Pottery - We will need to fire your pieces first before you are able to use them, the firing process will involve multiple stages like drying, and firing it twice which can take around 6-8 weeks.

Shipping Fee is NOT included in the workshop rates. Once the pieces are ready, our team will contact you. You may choose between:

(1) Pick up at our Makati studio ( 7230 Malugay, Brgy Bel-Air Makati, (Beside The Zone)

(2) Deliver to your doorstep (delivery fee shouldered by you)

Tufting - Yes, you will be able to bring home your rug since we will teach you how to glue, attach backing, touch up, shave, trim, and clean your tufted piece.
